Biography

Emilie Errié

Born in Haiti, Emilie discovered her artistic talent at a very young age, beginning with drawing and later expanding her skills to photography and painting.  In 1999, she had her first public art exhibition, while in secondary school, at the National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

After moving to the United States, Emilie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Photography in 2014, but she never stopped painting.  In 2012, she had her first American exhibition in Brookline, MA.  Her paintings reflect a mix of Haitian and American cultural influences, personal values, and a commitment to integrity and kindness.  Her art is a celebration of the human form, emotions, and connections.  Her creative process involves conceptual work with a playful style.  She enjoys sharing her art, and strives to inspire others.
